Okay, meu segundo post em Português, vão ver o jeito que tenho para escrever em português u.u . Então pronto, um dos meus estilos preferidos de musica é o Punk. Mas não essas merdas de bandas "punk" tipo Green Day mas sim bandas como: Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Clash, The Stranglers etc. Sim, porque não sei quem foi o idiota que disse que Green Day é punk mas o gajo devia tar sob efeito d'algum ecstasy ou o caralho, porque isto não tem ponta por onde se pegue. Continuando.. Tava eu contente na net num site de perguntas/respostas, na área Musica Rock/Pop quando vi a seguinte pergunta: Na sua opinião qual é a melhor banda de Metal / Punk da história?. Pois bem, carreguei na pergunta e vi que havia umas 7 pessoas a dizerem que era os Green Day e meia duzia de petelecos que percebem da cena a dizerem que era Ramones/Sex Pistols/The Clash. Imediatamente fui e respondi o seguinte:

Punk - Sex Pistols, porque ? Porque eles sim possuiam a alma punk. Anarquia na veia, revolução, revolta. Basta dizer que com apenas um album ficaram para a história, apenas um. Quem mais conseguiu isso ? Basta dizer que Sid Vicious (baixista) mal tocava, que Johnny Rotten tinha a voz mais cuspida que há por aí e que fizeram um sucesso do caralho. Eu mesma sou fã deles. Eles são a ALMA do punk, aquilo que visualizamos como Punk na nossa cabeça sem passar a linha do ridículo. E basta dizer que eles tavam pouco se cagando para o que as pessoas pensavam ou não deles. Dou três exemplos:

1 - Fizeram uma música, das mais conhecidas deles, God Save The Queen em que chamam a adorada raínha da Inglaterra de fascista, algo até então impensável.
2 - Na primeira vez em que tocavam ao vivo (directo se não me engano) na Inglaterra, às 5 horas da tarde (a tal horinha do chá e horário nobre da TV, aquela hora em que a Inglaterra toda está a ver tv) quando eram entrevistados pela primeira vez , foi dito pela primeira vez na TV a expressão: Fuck Off. Não tenho que dizer que a nação toda ficou escandalizada e querendo ver mais dos Sex Pistols.
3 - Depois de tanta polémica devido às musicas, aos concertos, letras etc eles foram proibidos de tocar em terra britânica. Alternativa ? Alugaram um barco enorme e fizeram um concerto no mar.

E ISSO é Punk. Punk é rebeldia. Punk é revolta. Punk é estar se a foder para a sociedade e para os regimes opressivos. Punk é anarquia. É ser porco, sujo e mau. Punk é casacos de cabedal, botas de motoqueiro, Doc Martens, calças jeans rasgadas e cabelos oleosos. Punk é sexo, drogas e Rock n' Roll. É Sex Pistols que até no nome havia escandalo. E é isso que me faz adorar Sex Pistols e que me faz acreditar que eles são a melhor e maior banda Punk!


Bem, após esta tese bem defendida acho que posso dizer que podia ir pra advocacia. xD Ou não, demasiados palavrões, upsy daisy! 6.6
Mas pronto, acho que deixei bem clara a minha opinião quanto ao Punk e quanto aos Sex Pistols. Admito que técnicamente não eram grande coisa, como já disse o Sid Vicious, que substituiu Glen Matlock (que secalhar era o único que realmente sabia tocar alguma coisa), nao sabia tocar quase nada e o Johnny Rotten tinha das vozes mais esganiçadas e cuspidas que há praí. Além do facto das musicas rondarem à volta dos 3 acordes apesar disso ser característica do Punk. Mas pronto, o que conta aqui é o factor revolução na musica, e isso os Sex Pistols fizeram bem dentro do cenário Punk.

When you look at this piece of art, are you ignorant enough to say i's crap?!

I've heard so many ignorant people saying that even a baby could do this that it pisses me off like it's my painting. The feeling of this painting makes ME shiver of fear, it takes my emotions to another stage. I can see Munch's heart screaming in despair, I can see the blood red clouds, I see the colours crying in pain, in despair, in anxiety, in pure madness. I can see Munch's heart aching infinite pain, shouting out sorrow through his eyes. And I feel it so intensily that it makes me feel the same.
And this is why I love this painting so much. It's like the painting really has emotions. This is one of the best pieces of art in history, in my opinion, because it does what art is supposed to do. As Munch himself would say:

When seen as a whole, art derive's from a person's desire to communicate himself to another (...)

Okay, I've discovered what I think is the biggest problem of my blog: it's all writen in English. Okay, so what should I do ? I could start writing my posts in portuguese but the thing is, I prefer writing in English, it's easier for me, and, I want people from different parts of the world to be able to read my posts, so, I've got a major problem. Yes, because friends of mine have already said: "you should write in portuguese, we can't understand what you say, bla bla bla bla bla". So I think my next will be in portuguese so that people "around me" can understand. Maybe I'll post translations of my smaller posts in english, but only time will say. So that's all, my next post will be in Portuguese and lets hope more people will be able to understand and give some feed back..

Behind all the porno, drug and pointless lyrics, Guns N' Roses' have some songs that have got some phrases with a inteligent concept. Welcome to the Jungle is one of them. Even though most of it's lyrics refer to sex and the rock n' roll life, there are two quotes that I like quite a lot; the one above and, "Do you know where you are? You're in the jungle baby ! You're gonna die!". Through these lyrics you can see how life and people are. What they'll do to survive life, which in this music is compared to a jungle. Humans are compared with animals, "irracional" animals which act with their instincts, etc etc. One day, when I have more inspiration I'll talk a little bit more about the deph of this quote. The music is also quite good, you should hear it.

Guns N' Roses.

Okay, I said I would post from time to time, little things about my idols, which are all artists. This time I'm going to talk about one of my favourite bands: Guns N' Roses. As I've said before, I'm a huuuuge fan of music, it's my best friend and everythin. well, so here is some info about ma babys:

GUNS N' ROSES (Former Guns)

So the story goes a lil' like this:

Once upon a time there was a little boy from Lafayette, Indiana called William Bruce Bailey who thought he was the son of Sharon Lintner and Stephen Bailey, but with 17 , while going through some papers discovered that he was actually son of William Bruce Rose. With 16 he started to "act out". He got in trouble with the police many times and was kicked out from home for not cutting his hair. At this age, he also met Jeffrey Isbell (later known as Izzy Stradlin), with who he talked about their love for rock and eventually started playing in bands together. Stradlin eventually left Rose and Indiana, going to LA in order to perceive his dream to be in a band. In 1982 it would be Rose's turn to do the same thing, and leave Indiana for Los Angeles. Rose eventually would change his name to W. Axl Rose (AXL was the name of a band in which he played) and set out to re-unite with Izzy. In LA, Axl was a member for bands as Rapidfire, Hollywood Rose and LA Guns. It would be in 1985 that one of the greatest bands in the world, Guns N' Roses, would be formed by Axl and guitarrist Tracii Guns, his LA Guns bandmate. The name of the band was a merge between LA GUNS and Hollywood ROSE that featured musicians who had played for one or both groups like Izzy Stradlin, Ole Beich and Rob Gardner. After a short while Ole Beich would be replaced by Duff McKagan, Rob Gardner would quit and be replaced by Steven Adler and Tracii replaced by Slash, for not showing up at rehearsals. Slash, a very talented guitarrist (considered by many one of the best ever), had played with McKagan in Road Crew and was friends with Steven since childhood. This would be one of the greatest line-ups ever formed with Axl on the vocals, Izzy on the rythym guitar, Slash with the solo guitar, Duff on the bass and Steven on the drums. The band would hit it big in LA and eventually build a big fan base and capture the attention of many record companies. On the 21st June 1987, Guns N' Roses released they're massive album, Appetite For Destruction. A album full with hits like "Sweet Child O'Mine", "Paradise City", "My Michelle", "Welcome To The Jungle", "Nightrain", "Mr. Brownstone" and others. The rest is history. After Appetite , 5 more albuns would be released under the name Guns N Roses (G'N'R Lies, Use Your Illusion I/II, The Spaghetti Incident?, and Chinese Democracy), though tha lasts ones were with different line-up. Appetite hit it huge in the whole world and fixed the band as one of the greatest in the world. Lies and UYI I/II also hit massive. But, it was during the fortune and fame that problems started. During the Use Your Illusion tour Steven was fired because of his drug addictions and in 1991, Izzy, who many consider the quiet, reserved and brains of the band, quitted, suposedly because he was fed up with Axl's bitchin'. Some years later Slash would quit and later Duff. Now, the only original band member in GNR is the controversial Axl, to whom many blame for the "end" of the band , even though GNR's still active. Now, the band has a totally different line-up and is touring (Chinese Democracy was released in 2008 after 12 years and $13 million were spent) , while Duff and Slash are kickin it in Velver Revolver. Izzy's havin' a calm life releasing albuns (10 so far) and Steve has had many problems because of his drug addiction. Nevertheless, Guns N' Roses will always be remembered for it's great music and shows. It's considered one of the greatest bands ever, have sold over 100 million records worldwide, and the band members are all very well known for there talent (especially Axl and Slash). Personality.

She's like Heaven and Hell.

You know, while I was talking with Anna, a friend of mine, I remembered of posting a little message about my personality. Well, the thing is I consider myself "bipolar". What is that, you ask? It's a person who has two distinct, opposite personalities. Why do I consider myself as that? Because i think, within me "exists" two individuals. One is a bubbly, free-spirit girl, who's always bouncing around etc etc. The other person is very serious and quite cold. You can even notice this in my voice. The "happy me" has a very girly, loud voice, while the "serious me" (not unhappy, I'm no emo xD) has a much more calmer voice. If you know me and have seen my two sides, you may actually say "she really is that way", or maybe not, maybe I'm just exagerating. Btw, I'm not saying I'm REALLY bipolar, I'm not a maniac or anything, but the word expresses well what I wanna say (bi=two , polar=side, etc etc).

But.. wtv, this doesn't make me unhappy, so.. so what?
