(...) You were just given the key to the door in front of you. There's no need to know the cause. No need for sorrow or sadness. What comes next is up to you. You can use your keys to open the door... ...or lock it tight. And if you do choose to open it... you can still decide not to pass through.
"That which shines in the eyes of the beast, is the moon reflected on the water. No matter how hard he tries to grasp it, he will only sink to the bottom."
Ichigo, do you know what's the difference between a king and his horse?
I don't mean the kiddy shit like "One's a person and the other's an animal" or "one has two legs and the other has four" ! Why is it that one becomes a king and controls the battle, while other becomes a horse and carries the king!? There's only one answer: INSTINCT! Deep, deep within our bodies lies the honed instinct to kill, to slaughter! You don't have those pure, basic instincts! You fight with your brain. You try to defeat your opponents with logic, and it doesn't seem to work! You're trying to kill them with a sheathed sword! That's why you suck Ichigo!
I'm so disappointed, Ichigo. So very disappointed... Sadly, your sword exibits only fear. When you counter, it's because you fear being killed. When you attack, you fear killing. And when you try to protect someone, you fear you could let them die. At this point, the only thing your sword speaks of is senseless fright. And that's not good. What you do not need in battle, is fear. Nothing will come of it. When you counter, you don't let them cut you. When you protect someone, you don't let them die. When you attack, you kill. Understand? Can't you see? My sheer resolve to kill you is reflected in my sword.
"(...) Think about it this way: a person picks up a sword when he's trying to protect something. Perhaps it's your life or your social status, maybe a reputation, a loved one, or personal beliefs. The movites may be completly different, but in the end, it's the same desire to protect something."
"We are taught never to shed tears. For to shed tears means that the body has been defeated by emotion. And, to us, that simple act of crying proves, without question,
that the existence of emotion is nothing but a burden."
"Live to the fullest, Ichigo. Live to the fullest, age to the fullest, go bald to the fullest and die long after I do. And if possible... die with a smile"
"We are all like fireworks. We climb, shine and always go our separate ways and become further apart. But even if that time comes, let's not disappear like a firework, and continue to shine... forever."
I'd just like to state here that I don't really care about this blog or any other that I have created. Hence I might post once a day, once in a while, many times a day or never post again. Many of the thing I write here aren't even related to me, but sometimes can somewhat be. This blog is just like a piece of paper which I use and throw away when there's no need, something like a notebook where I keep quotes and some memories. Even though, if you did, thanks for reading.
Many of the posts here are simple quotes - mine, or not - binded with photos from the stunning Bailey Elizabeth which you can find on dA and Flickr by the name Miss-Deathwish. I want to clearly state I do not own any of these photos in any way, besides the photos I mention were taken by me (which includes the Marilyn Manson photo from one of my first posts). Please, if you admire good art do check out Miss-Deathwish's gallery on dA. You will be stunned, she's of great talent. Thanks and sorry for taking your time. Gee.
